  1. I am looking for a program or help how to do this.

I have 10 music choice channels comming in from my cable provider. I would like to record to my computer and seperate it by tracks. I know that it has header information since the information is being displayed on the tv screen.

Also if anybody know of some software to record cassette tapes to pc and seperate it by tracks. I have seen this type of software on the web.

Nero can do both of your questions.

It can record and split the tracks.

Goldwave can also do this. If that's all you want it for then it's also cheaper than Nero.

    How do you figure?

Nero has a full featured free demo.

Goldwave also has a full featured demo. When the demos run out, Goldwave is still cheaper to buy.
