Allright then. This is a video editing website, which means that we should have a good spread of nice PCs. Let's see some specifications, coupled with a couple of CPU-Z screendumps for CPU and memory.
CPU-Z can be downloaded here:
http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpu-z-126.zip
...and does not require installation. It is stand-alone.
I will post my machine up once it is fully constructed.
I have also made a poll - Intel or AMD. Just want to see the ratio of Intel:AMD users here - no arguing about which is better! :P
This could be interesting.

That's a really nice overclock you've got there, BJ_M. What sort of RAM do you use?

over voltage and no multipler or FSB ? (or buss speed?)
speed listed at 4ghz ? you got bios set right ?"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
It runs great and is liquid cooled. VERY STABLE.
I would have thought it would have melted. I had a friend overclock my NEON tower. I'm getting ready to get a new motherboard, so I wanted to see if this one still had potential through overclocking. I know nothing about it, so I had my good friend do it. He had nothing but overclocked systems and they all run great without problems. I just wanted to see what he could do for my machine. It runs pretty fast and smooth. -
well you do have video artifacts - so i beat the buss speed is overclocked also

no - that is something else - not artifacts, but relating to OC 4sure

[in Rainman voice] It's Fast. Definitely Fast. Overclocked, Fast. Definitely.

Here is mine. I was encoding while I took the screengrab, but I don't think that affects anything

Not much, but it gets the job done. I'm due for an upgrade soon. Thinking I'll give AMD a try with the next system.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
Here is one of mine. It is not much but it gets r done.

Does this look normal. I've never really messed with anything...could I do

My main workstation:
I thought about overclocking this machine but then I figured that's not really necessary.
I don't have a screenshot of my other machine handy so I'll have to nab one later.FB-DIMM are the real cause of global warming -
It didn't work, something must be wrong with the that program.

The final component to my PC should be coming tomorrow. Once I've got it integrated and the HTT frequency settled down, I'll post a couple of screendumps.
Nothing too special, but I'm pleased with it. Student PC and all. -
Shouldn't this be in the Computer forum? Someone needs to keep these damn mods in line
