  1. I have a hp p1100 inkjet printer and i am using windows xp sp2 when i try to print something in any program it takes about 1-5 min to print .
    I have renstalled the printer and the driver but it seams not to help to speed up the printing , someone said to look into the BIOS but i am not sure how to do this i think that i have found a driver for it but it seams to be the same i think .
    The cable is are seame to be find it is a parreall cable
    can you help me with this it would be great thanks alot

    You may want to try changing the mode of your parallel port in BIOS. It may be set to Compatible mode or SPP. Try setting it to EPP or ECP and seeing if that improves performance any.
