Every anime i have downloaded, is cut off on the edge due to i belive overcroping. The whole idea of getting this player was to eliminate the need to convert to watch on my tv... Should I just bring this back now and get a different one if there is no simple solution? Or without lenghty conversions needed? Thanks.

Yes they are hard coded subs, I assume I will have to change the overscan or something? I dont know... Any help would be great.

Probably nothing you can do about it, besides reencode with due consideration taken with respect to overscan. All players (or rather, TVs) are like this. It's nothing wrong with your player-your expectations are, I'm afraid. The Avis you've downloaded are obviously intended for computer playback.
