I am going to buy a Pioneer 108D next week and intend to 'flash' the drive with Piodata 1.08 firmware which will allow me to burn with either DVD+R or DVD-R (outcome DVD-ROM). At the moment I have a Pioneer 106D and have always used DVD-R.
I am interested in hearing from members 'your thoughts' on the different formats ..eg.. do the +R burn better, faster, more stable or is there less +R fake media floating around ???
