Hey guys.
I am getting an error message when I try to burn the final project in ulead dvd moviefactory 2.0.
I selected new project as svcd and used the auto feature to add chapters at every 5 mintues. After playing around the text and layout and whatnot, I tried to burn disk but keep receiving the following message:
"some chapter entry frame numbers exceed the total frames"
And I cant burn from there.
How do I fix this?
ALSO, one more question:
1) How do I add a 'link' to the main menu of the movie so that instead of having a menu where you chose the track on the disk only, you can choose to play the movie right away or go to chapter selection. The way I have it setup now, I have to choose the first track and from there it takes me to the scene selection window. I want to be able to choose to either play the movie or choose to go to a scene selection window from the main menu.
thanks all!

Do you have any 3:2 pulldown (film) material in your project?
If so, that is what confuses the software.
Eliminate chapters past the 85% mark and it should work.

ULEAD PhotoImpact supports the .UFO file format of the templates used in the DVD authoring module of Ulead VideoStudio 7.0.
One can open the DVD authoring module templates in Ulead PhotoImpact and edit them by opening the LAYER MANAGER in Ulead PhotoImpact.
One can re-size text.
One can re-size thumbnails.
One can add/delete thumbnails.
One can type text.
However, this requires some ADVANCED knowledge.
There are no tutorials, yet.
I'm planning to write one.

Hi
I keyworded that error message in Google and got Ulead's web site:
At http://www.ulead.com/tech/dmf/dmf_ftp_dmf2.htm I found an "update pack" for MovieFactory 2.0 which specifically mentioned that error and said that this fixes it.
'Seems to be true, too.
MovieFactory has to close down for the update pack (an .exe file) to install itself. Once it was installed I had no more problems.
Good luck.
