HELP WMV1 conversion problems...,.

downloaded a file from kazza with protected content and brought a license for a month to view it and others. PROBLEM I cant convert it to any other form like VCD, it only plays in windows player,

have tried asf tools and virtual dub 3.1 version to read it, but it is impossible.

I could be wrong, but I believe that the licence you purchased is for viewing rights only, similar to a rental of a DVD. If this is the case, then I don't think the mods will be too accepting of any assistance provided to you

Mods have deemed this OK, so I'll suggest that loading the WMV file via an AVISynth script is rumoured to get around DRM.
