  1. HI!
    I`m using TMPGEnc v2.5 to cut a movie(removing commercials). I recorded the movie with my digital sat pci card.
    It is Mpeg2 format.

    The problem is that what ever I cut after minute 46(in this file) is without sound or is asynchron(sound+video not at the right point)!

    What is the reason for that?

    Thanks for your help!

    By the way:
    I tried TMPGEnc v. 2.524 and v. 2.521!

    The TMPGENC editor is rather unreliable. Try MPEGVCR or VideoReDo for MPEG-2 editing.

    I think I've read somewhere (at the developers site) that TMPGEnc promises to cut mpegs encoded with TMPGEnc reliably - no other promises. IMHO, I'd not even use it for that. Like Forum Troll says, Womble mpegvcr is what you should try - it has never let me down.
