  1. I have the Ilo dvdr04 with the MV hack. I have been backing up my Dtivo to dvd (eps of LOST) I am missing one however. I was wondering if I record the five episode near it then record the one I am missing last can I change the order they are listed on the disc so that they get lisited right or should I number them.

    Hi wevans,

Yes, you can achieve what you want. Here's how:

Assume episode 7 of 10 is missing.

    1. Record episodes 1 - 6. Create either one long MPEG2 for all 6, or individual ones for each episode. No difference.

    2. Oops, missed episode 7.

    3. Same as 1 for 8 - 10.

    4. Record episode 7 when it's re-run.

    5. Author DVD by loading up episodes 1 -6, then episode 7, then episodes 8 - 10.

The authoring tool should / will then treat all episodes in the correct order and as continuous episodes. TMPGEnc DVD Author can this, as can others.

The final VOBs will then show a seamless integration of the missing episode in the right place.
