  1. Hi people. I need some help. I have a divx file with AC3 audio. I have to convert the audio to something like mpeg L2 (something that Windowns Media Player recognizes without downloading the condec). I'm asking this because I want to convert it to VCD, and it isn't converting the audio AC3.

Can somebody help me, please ??

    Thanks in advance !!!

  4. FulciLives, could you help me again? I installed, but I didn't understand how to use it with VirtualDub. I didn't find any tutorials too... Could you tell me how it works, or point me to a tutorial?

    Thanks !!!

As I recall you need to do nothing. Just install it.

You should then be able to open up a file with AC-3 audio in VirtualDub without any problems.

I would use VirtualDubMod not the plain version of VirtualDub.

You should also be able to open the file directly into TMPGEnc Plus.

    P.S.
    Reboot after you install.

If you're making a VCD then it's best to extract the AC3 to wav and then use the wav file as the audio source when you encode. Here's two guides, I prefer using Goldwave.

    Good luck.
