Hi,
when i capture from a VCR tape to the computer it seems to be perfect but then after altering everything i need in Sony Vegas and i go to render it starts getting horrizontal banding similer to the ones shown here:
https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=249542
i think it may be macrovision as i have captured it 5 times and each time there has been something different wrong with it...all my other tapes captured fine i dunno wehther this would make a difference though.
any help will be great. Thanks

thats not macrovision in the pic ....
did you read that thread ?"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
Yes i did read the thread but they had thought it was macro and hadnt figured that it was his card when i made the link....
anyway back to the thing i came here for some help...
I still have the problem however it has changed slightly.
I capture straight from the tape and it is excellent untill i write it onto DVD i can discount my writer and the program i am using since all the other videos on the DVD work apart form the one im having probs with.
what happens is when it is played back on a TV and only on a TV it starts to split similar to the picture thats shown in the post i linked to. it wont show on a PC monitor unless i render with Sony Vegas or Premiere.
any ideas?
