  1. I successfully converted a single avi with beta 7. Next, I tried 2 avi files as assets. Each avi file was in a separate folder. While watching the processing, I observed the mpeg for 1st avi being written into the 1st avi's folder. When the log message appeared saying svcd2dvd was working on the 2nd avi, I noticed the mpeg file in the 1st avi folder dropped back to near zero length and started to lengthen again. No other files were apparently being output. This seemed like a prelude to failure, so I stopped the processing. (I did not try putting all assets in the same folder.)

Were the original filenames the same?

  3. No. The original .avi filenames differed by one character in the 22nd character position, being either a 1 or a 2.

  4. However, it is worth a retry to make sure I didn't mistakenly paste the same asset name twice. I'll let you know.
