I am buying an Epson R300 printer and I wanted to know what software falls into the following categories, though not necessarily all of them.

    Quality
    Ease of use
    Price
what you can do with it

Such as Product X, is very easy to use and cheap, but the quality sucks and what you can do with it is limited. Product Y has a little bit of a learning curve but there isn't anything that you can't do with it and it the results are great, oh yeah and it's a little pricey.

I am considering Sure Labeller but I it just seems like it's a label printer not for printing directly to CD/DVD.

    Thank you

These printers come with their own priting utility. Why do you need somthing else?

The Epson PrintCD software does a really good job; easy to use. Surething software actually supports the Epson CD printers and it works fine also. I personally use the Epson software for CD/DVD direct printing and Surething for the "case Labels" I have not printed a stick-on CD/DVD label for over a year now and have not messed up anymore CD players since I quit using them.

  7. Is there a way to make Surething fit the picture to the label template when you import it? This is something the Epson app does if the picture is a certain size. My problem with the Epson app that I discussed awhile back is that it doenst put my pics in alphabetical order. They are just sorted randomly.

    Dmagic, this is weird.
When I browse a folder with PrintCD, all files are sorted in alphabetical order. Always.
    Have you upgrade it?

  9. Yea, I think I've tried 2 or 3 versions including the most up to date. It bugs the heck out of me having to search for the pic I need.

I've tried different naming combos and everything. With spaces, without spaces, caps, and no caps. Nothing helps.

  11. Name them by number? That would make it just as hard to find.
