I've created some mpegs and before buring them to create my vcd's have noticed the sound is out of sync with the video.
I have mentioned this inother post but is it possible to correct this fault without going through the whole encoding bit again with TMPGEnc?
Thanks,
Will

if the async is constant throughout try demuxing(tmpgenc or bbtools) & playing around with the multiplexing start offsets(values in milliseconds) in bbmpeg

It's possible, but the only way I know how to do it is a real pain in the ass. I have a rip of Shrek that was out of synch (sound behind the video) by 0.8s at the beginning and sound ahead of the video by 0.5s at the end. The only way I could figure out how to do it was to cut 0.8s off the beginning and 0.5 off the end and use a sound editor to stretch the clip back to the original length. It takes a bit of experimenting and it's slow but it works - I think. I'm still waiting for the final re-mux. Good luck.
