After returning 3 seperate 50pks of Prodisc Printable hub dvd+r, I thought I would try the memorex Printable DVD+R from BestBuy, I got them for xmas. Media code is CMC MAG E01. These discs are CRAP....tried 4 differnet movies (sizes varied from 2.99GB - 4.36) Everyone of them had blocks and freezing.....

Figured I'd just let others know about these discs....

I recently purchased verbatim printables (94812) from meritline....

Hopefully these will work....thought getting my 300r would be cool, but the fact of the matter is, dvd+r printable media is just so unpredictable.....

CMC = Chinese Made Crap - this is common knowledge to most folks. I personally stay away from all printables (even CD-R) if I can help it. Memorsux have been OFF of my list since the cassette tape days.

Well, I have use these (Memorex 4x +R Printables) but they have all been Ricohjpn 01. Not a single coaster and they all played fine in several DVD players. Hard to tell what you will get when you buy them but I guess I was lucky.

  4. I agree I bought a Epson 200R and for a cheap printer it does a wonderful job. Problem is trying to play these disks. I've pretty much have given up and will go back to non printable disks. I've had extremely good Luck with Sony's as of late, never a recording problem and no errors in DVDrinfopro.
