I remember seeing Hardware Wars on HBO a long time ago. I've seen the VHS on Ebay occasionally but I think I'm sometimes looking at the wrong one. Were there two Hardware Wars films?
I'm looking for the one with the dancing and singing mailboxes(actually spoofed from Close Encounters).....
Can anyone enlighten me a bit?
    Thanks....

My brother must be an idiot then. He claims it has never been released on DVD. But then again...I do recall some VHS's of this thing(or something similar) going for over $25. Who would pay $25 for a VHS when a DVD is available?

People who don't have a dvd player and are either too cheap to buy a $40 one or not technologically inclined to want one!

  4. Looks like it's out of print

When Amazon.com has this notice on the page, it means they don't have that item in stock...and sometimes they aren't able to obain it.

Availability: Please note that titles occasionally go out of print or publishers run out of stock. We will notify you within 2 to 4 weeks if we have trouble obtaining this title.

Trust me, I've ordered from them enough times that way and they'd stall for more than 4 weeks (would be 2 - 3 months) then ended up sending an email that they couldn't track down a copy from a distributer.

Order from here (if you can or at least have it send to your parents) -

I have the DVD, bought new about a year ago. The VHS had stuff on it that's not on the DVD like "Pork Lips Now"(?) and "Godzilla Meets Bambi" and the Close Encounters spoof I can't remember the name of.

I also have the Total Movie #1 DVD with "Troops" on it ...
