Greetings
I have created several Quiz DVD's each made up from 30 - 40 short (30 second) movie clips with 50+ menus which display multiple choice answers with links to correct/wrong splash screens. As you can imagine the DVD strucure is long and complex but after many hours work the DVD's have been created and they all play perfectly.
My problem is that each Quiz is only about 800meg and I would like to merge these onto one DVD with an intro menu to select which Quiz to play.
I know DVDremake pro can merge 2 DVD's and preserve all the original menus etc but I am not sure whether this will work for several DVD's.
Does anyone know of a tool that could do this or even if it is possible?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Steve

I have used TMPGEnc DVD Author to add multiple DVD's onto one disk. Do a search and you should see a few guides. Also welcome to the forums.

Don't confuse TMPGEnc (the encoder) with TMPGEnc DVD Author (the authoring program), which is very easy to use in my opinion...
JeanlMenuShrink a free tool to shrink menus into stills with or without audio!
DVDSubEdit: a free tool to modify your subtitles directly inside the vob. -
Thankyou Jeanl for your post.
Yes I agree TMPGEnc Author is straightforward and I could see this working easily if I was starting from scratch with say 3 or 4 movie clips or even more and then creating a simple menu to play them.
But as per my original post I have already done the hard work in creating the DVD's and need some way of merging them on to one disk. Bear in mind each DVD is about 800 meg and so 5 of them will contain over 200 movie clips and 200 menus so I am not looking to reuthor completely!
I'm basically looking for a way to merge 5 completed DVD's and create one new menu and put them on one disk.
Any further help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

DVD Remake Pro - look up the guides for this, as there is one for merging disks.
Read my blog here.

I was thinking DVD Remake Pro yesterday, but was a bit apprehensive about whether it can only merge 2 discs together (I believe the new version has a simple menu option now for this) or if it can merge n discs together, creating the first menu with a selection to each DVD. Dimad, are you out theeeeeeere ???
If in doubt, Google it. -
Yes DVD Remake Pro can only merge 2 DVD's so I think the best I could do is merge 2 DVD's twice and then merge the 2 created DVD's to get 4 originals on on 1 disk.
Unless anybody can think of something better!

Yes I agree Jimmalenko and it would look a bit amateurish too!
Still, it might be the only simple solution that is available.
I'll email DVD Remake Pro and suggest that on their next release they consider expanding it to more that merge 2 DVD's.
Thanks for your input.

Merging more then two disks will be implemented in one of the next releases.
But it is fairly straightforard to do it manually:

Especially taking into account that you most probably would like to replace default menu anyway ( http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/ht_customize_menu.php ).
To have more "pro like" look for your merged disk.http://www.dimadsoft.com - home of DvdReMake and MenuEdit tools -

stiltman managed to join 3, and replaced the menu with his own. Might be worth a lookIf in doubt, Google it. -
is this the same thread yet again?
. What's with all these joining posts appearing
. I think you can join as many as you want in one project as long as you make a note of the new first play's for each DVD
I just posted a method HERE that may work. I don't know if you need to join 2 DVD's then join the 3rd onto those. I think you can do it all in one go doin something below
