  1. I got a new computer so I downloaded all my programs I had on the last one. I burned a DVD chapter and when I load the vob file it says the file is unsupported or something like that. isn't there a plug-in to ad, so this doesn't happen?

It happens often with TMPGEnc. It can load lots of VOBs, just not all of them. Try frameserving from VDub to TMPGEnc as a workaround.

You would be better off ripping the DVD in FILE MODE (SELECT ALL FILES) with DVD Decrypter then creating a D2V project file with DVD2AVI

TMPGEnc should open the D2V file directly without issues.

Another benefit of this is that you can use the D2V project file in an AviSynth script. Some people are scared of AviSynth scripting but it really is not that hard once you get used to it and allows you to control a lot of stuff including the use of one of the best all around "video noise filters" known as Convolution3D.

You can use AviSynth scripts with TMPGEnc but once you master AviSynth you can then start using CCE BASIC which works better than TMPGEnc and is much faster.
