  1. I have a Dazzle USB 2.0 capture device and using Pinnacle Studio 9, i captured a tv broadcast that was over 14 hrs long. the file is over 35 gb. it will play in various media players up until the last hr or so. then it freezes up.

but when i try to load it into Studio or even TMPGENC, only the first hour and 20 mins show up. the parts that i need is well into the middle of the file. i've never had this problem before.

i captured it as DVD quality mpeg.

    Use VideoReDo to edit it.

  3. i appreciate the answer, but that program had the same problem as the other several i've mentioned. it only shows the first Hour and 20 minutes while Media Player Classic shows the file as being 14 hrs long

  6. Did you try using the QuickStreamFix in VideoReDo?
I once had a faulty .VOB file which only showed the first few minutes in any app, even VideoReDo, but using the fix corrected the entire file.

i was a little rude earlier , and hadnt got back until now. but mpeg vcr did work for me. i used the 'mpeg systems stream converter'. i'm not real sure how it did it, but i can now edit the full 14hr file instead of just the first hour or so.

anyway, i really appreciate the help. thanks a lot.
