  1. I have a ilo dvdr04 and was trying to find out what version of firmware is in it. I can't get the ilo website to take a serial number. The numbers on screen are hard to read, not sure if I am getting the numbers right. Is there something in the serial number that tells me what firmware is in the machine. Want to update it b4 xmas.

    You don't need Nero installed to use this tool, it's a stand-alone application.

  3. Not sure how this works on a dvd recorder?
    Here is some additional info.
    Walmart ILO DVDR04
    model ddw-451s
    WMEA1086.c04
    693345w06a302
    rev 02
    dmn 8602a2
    The recommended update is wmea 1097.
    Iw was a July 04 mfg.
    Not sure what all this means, any ideas what clone model this is?
