Sony DRX-530UL refuses to burn now!!!!!!!

Hi everyone I'm new to the board and I expressly joined for this purpose. I've been using my Sony DRX-530UL since March and I've made alot of coasters (I mean well over a 100) and that was my fault because I had no idea what I wa doing. But, I learned from this site and others and I had the whole process down. In October I updated my drive's firmware to 2.1c and everything started to work beautifully. No more coasters, no more trouble.

Unfortunately, without any kind of warning my drive stopped burning. I had just burnt a disc and I was ready to burn another and when I tried the burn process failed. It said that the SCSI had aborted. That was when I was using Roxio's Easy Media Creator 7, so I tried Nero and the same thing happened. I just wasted 11 discs and I know its not the disc themselves because I've used them before. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME

Could be read error or write error, not fault of drive itself. Copying what to where, and on what media?

I backup my dvd to a file in my hard drive and then burn it to a disc.
