  1. Im having problems with a Vob converted to an Avi in virtualdub
is not recognized in Premiere Pro it just hangs while inporting.
I have loaded the mainconcept codec to allow an Vob to be imported,
though there is no audio with the video........i imagine i could grab the
    audio with other programs.

I really like the Virtualdub program ,is there a reason why Virtualdub
vobs converted to an avi is not recognized by Pro......and is there
a work around? ......Im just trying to mix dvd video with my dv camera
video from and edit in Premiere.

    THanks in advance

  3. I think i went thru them all .........i spent quite a bit of time experimenting
with them , and windows mediaplayer will play the converted Avis
so it sounds like adobe is not liking something from VDub.

Also i had used 1click Dvd2avi programs and Premiere accepted
them , but i like the quality of Vdub much better.

I was following a tutorial on just pulling out chapters and
vdub is one of the suggested apps

This is a work in progress

    Thanks in advance

  4. Alright i figured it out by reading other posts,,,,,,
I converted without audio....Ac3 and was able to import
    into premiere.
reading another post stated some apps like Premiere does
not know what to do with the Ac3.

Ill pull out audio as a wav and edit in premiere.
