Hello, I need help cleaning up a picture that was drawn on Graph paper. I would like to get rid of the blue graph lines in the background, but unfortunately I'm not good at using Photoshop or any other photo editing applications.

If anybody can help me out, I'd appreciate it alot!

    The picture is here.
    P.S. The picture is huge. (1269x1654, 6mb)

That's a nice looking drawing. Good job.

Unfortunately, I think taking those blue lines out is really hard. You'd probably have to pay somebody to take them out manually (get your PayPal account ready )

My only other idea would be to somehow get rid of the lines using colors since everything else is black and white while the lines are blue.

I use Paint Shop Pro but I really suck at it. Sorry I can't help.

Oh its ok. Thanks for the advice though. Hmmm... maybe after a few other members check out this thread, perhaps 1 will be a Photoshop master and be able to help me out.

I actually use a program called Ulead Photo Express, and they have a utility called "Replace Color", but it doesn't work good.

You could always use the free program The GIMP, its very similar to photoshop. Its at least worth a try. I believe you can find it at www.gimp.org

I can try once I'm home - my work computer doesn't have the get-up-and-go to do what I need to on that image.

This image site has a 250k limit, so this is just a scaled down jpg, but this is the best I could do with it.....

Is there any type of filter that just isolates the blue?
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
