    Hello all, I want to create a photo montage & I was wondering what programs I should use to do the task. I want a professional program, not something like powerpoint. I also want to add music to the montage, & then burn it to dvd. Thanks in advance

    I just did this for someone using Vegas.

    he gave me a PowerPoint slideshow, I exported every slide as a separate, numbered bitmap, imported them all into Vegas, set the image duration, set the crossfades, and added music in the background.

    Most any decent video-editing software will allow you to import pictures and fade between them.
