Hey.
I've seen certain montages of pictures in movies and on DVDs, where the pictures are moved slightly in the frame, giving the impression that there is a zoom or a pan. (Am I explaining it clearly?)
It looks much more professional than when the image is just centered in the frame, doesn't move, and then when the time is up the next image appears, and so on.
How is that effect called, and what program could I use to create similar montages from some JPEG pictures I have?

It's often called the Ken Burns effect. It's basically just panning and zooming across a large image. Most video editing packages have the ability. Sony Vegas, Corel VideoStudio, etc.
