  1. Hi, myself and a few friends would like to produce a fifa 11 skills/goal montage for youtube, however, I am looking for some advice. I have a HD PVR (I make videos regularly) and so therefore can record my own goals using that etc. However, I need some method for capturing their footage. Now, he's the predictament.

They are able to upload the goals to 'EASPORTFOOTBALLWORLD' to which I am able to view, admittedly, the quality of the upload (from xbox to site) isn't fantastic, none the less, I am looking for a effective and efficient way to record the footage and then import it into 'Sony Vegas' my editing software and render at 720p for youtube without the quality dropping or image being distorted etc.

I have tried "fraps" and "camstudio" both of which provide not too bad results, but I was just wondering whether any of you guys know of any way better.

    Regards, any advice welcome!

If you're recording lossless with fraps, you can't get better quality than that. You might try downloading the footage instead with various stream rippers, but the quality won't be better, just smaller file size.

The main problem would be the low quality source , made worse when you re-encode with vegas, and again when youtube re-encodes it
