  1. I am in need of a dvd author program that i could use to make a dvd with NO MENU and i also want it to automatically repeat the sequence of video clips.

I'm using approx. 30-35 short clips (videogame trailers) that i would like to keep playing continuously for use in a videogame store.

    misc info:
    TMPGEnc to convert from QuickTime
    DVD+R/rw burner

    thanks...

  2. You may use my GUI for dvdauthor for that purpose. If your clips have the same properties (resolution, aspect ratio...) untag 'Use titlesets' (otherwise keep it taged). Set the start action to 'Play movie' and the 'End action' to 'Next title' (to be done in the 'Def. settings'). In order to have (more or less) no menu, right click on the menu background and set the pause for the menu to 0 seconds, set the post action to 'jump title 1;' (or 'jump titleset 1 menu;' if you are using titlesets). If you want to 'hide' the menu even more, you may set the 'Default Button type' to 'graphic' with 15x12 pixel and set all transparency values to 99 in the 'Def. settings'.
Drag&drop your clips onto the menu background.
    Click 'Create DVD'

The DVD will start with a menu (just an empty blue screen which is shown 0 seconds), automatically play all titles, jump back to the menu (show the menu 0 seconds) and restart...

How long the '0 seconds' menu is really shown depends on your player, but it will be at least less than 1 second.

  3. ok kewl i'll try it out and see how it goes...

i would prefer a more simpler program. maybe one thats relatively easy to use, such as VCDEasy, only for dvds.
but this looks like it should be able to do what i need
