That lady is trying to screw me over again.
When my wife took the computer back,it was working and was running windows 2000.
Now the lady is saying it will not bootup.
She told my wife she is bringing it back.
I told my wife that I am not touching it.

does she have a lot of icons on her desktop? is she someone who never uses the start menu, just clicks on the desk?
take a screenshot of the desktop, and set it as the wallpaper. then make a new folder somewhere inconspicuous, and drag all the desktop icons into that folder.
hours of fun, as she tries to click on folders that are just images in the wallpaper....- housepig

I don't know what you are complaining about Russ, she looks pretty good from here...but then again I'm only 6 beers into the school day
But that just goes to show you, that no matter how good a girl looks, there is some guy somewhere who is tired of putting up with her shit. -
She looks good to me too. But then ....I don't live with her either

Quit trying to put your stick inside it and it would be fine. :P
If you can't tell already, this has me really messed up.
Out of all computers that I have repaired before, I have never had a problem like this, and to think she had the gall to say she was bringing it back. -

Hell don't let it get to you Gitreel. If you're in business long enough you are bound to have unhappy customers. -
Seems to me that if she never paid for the original work done on it that she has no right to bring it back for anything....

I used to do the same thing as a side business up until a few years ago and after I stopped the business, I would repair for a select group. Even that group became such a pain in the ass that I said "FU** IT!" and I don't bother to attempt to answer their questions anymore... If they ask a computer troubleshooting question to me, I just ask something back in return like, "Did you catch that football game the other day?".... anything off the topic of computers. They quickly figured out when I said no more, that I meant NO MORE.
My kindness was taken for granted by the select group and now they no longer get my services at all.... and they know it. -
She is now trying to sue me for the cost of her computer.
