Glitching and Skipping DvDs

I made a copy of troy, and it played fine right when it was done all the way through, but I put it in my case, and play it again a bit later in the week, and its glitchy and skips every once in a while. I am using dvdshrink and nero, but I dunno what could cause the problem, because it originally played fine...so could it be my media? or what

It certainly could be the media. When it first gets done it's all warm and happy.

Media, media, media - that is problem.

You buy cheap media you have problems.

RITEK works 100% for me.

I backed up my copy of Troy using DVDShrink and DVD Decrypter to burn. I have found that the burning of DVD Decrypter is MUCH more reliable than Nero espically if you want to play the DVD on many different DVD players.

RITEK is no longer considered uber-reliable, depending on the type.

Taiyo Yuden is still good. Where do you live, we can probably recommend a local place and some media to get there. For example, if you're in a part of the USA that has a Fry's or Best Buy, you can go buy Fuji media, usually on sale for pretty cheap (I pay $20 for a 50-pack of 8x), and that's good Taiyo-Yuden media.
