The bast way to make a vcd to you guyz out there??How do you guyz make your vcds???I used the guids on here and they don't work for me at all...So thats why I am ask you guyz for some big help..I want to learn how to make them so I could show all my friends that I can make them and play them on my dvd player..I am relying on you guyz so please help..need alot of ways and alot of posts please...

the best for me is nero...#1 to me but if i want menus i use ULead DVD MovieFactory

For VCD's that are a collection of excerpts or clips, I like using NERO because you can use the "skip" button on the DVD remote, since they are separate MPEG files. The 1/2 second pause between tracks is not too bothersome. On one continous MPEG (like a movie), I prefer ULEAD since it makes seamless chapter breaks with no pauses, but it won't allow "skip", you just use the MENU to access via chapter number. The latter also allows an "intro scene" and music to the MENU screens.

I never encountered a problem creating a basic VCD following this way:

1) SmartRipper
2) DVD2AVI
3) TMPEnc
4) Nero

Thanks guyz..I used nero and burn successfully and now it don't play why??
