    Hi,

    as posted earlier here: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=245651 , you can check out what's happened with my system when using DVDShrink 3.1 and 3.2.

    There's been some talk on other forums that this may seem to be happening to some people after installing Service Pack 2 for WinXP. Thinking back, when my system worked with those versions I really hadn't updated the OS yet, so there may be something there. I updated my drive firmware (lg-4160b) and nothing changed, the system still crashes. Versions of DVDShrink that are not "setup" (are self-executable) work fine, so I'm using DVDShrink 3.05beta right now.

    If anyone finds out anything about this please let me know.

    you can change the topic of the old post so it mentions service pack2.

    And dvd shrink is a dvd to dvdr tool so post in the dvd to dvdr forum in the future.
