    hi, im sorry if i posted this a long time ago but i think that thread has expired or something.

    im wondering why my benq dw800 dvd writer only burns at 12 speed at it's minumum?

    burning a dvd or cd? cause if your burning a cdr that sounds right

    dvd i get the option between 2 and 4 speed.

    but for audio cds 12 x is way too fast. it wont play in older cd players right?

    as for 2x and 4x on burning the dvd, its probably because your using 4x max media.

    as for 12x cd media, no 12x is stable to burn at.
