    i have used TMPG enc to convert my holiday DV footage (which was AVI) to an M2V and Mp2 audio file.

    I have then loaded it all up into TMPG Autor as described in all of the guides but every time i get to the very last screen and press start it shuts down immediately.

    It has created the DVD file structure in my chosen destination but they are empty.

    I am running all of this on a new fast PC with the Tsunami codec pack and the most recent (1.6.26.73) TMPG author.

    Any ideas?

    Hi sawm24,

    This has been reported a few times before and the typical (usual) solution is to uninstall and re-install TMPGEnc DVD Author.

    As for your codec pack - although it's probably not the cause of you problem, a general word of warning: only install the codecs you need as having too many codecs can cause conflicts and problems.
