Hey ppls. I'm trying to convert xvid/divx movie into dvd and I wanna add the subs in them. I usually do them using virtualdub and frameserve or something and then adding the .vdr to tmpgenc and encode it together.
Well all this time I've been having a little prob. Quite annoying really. The audio is lagging. Video and subtitle appear at the right time but after a few secs the audio would sound. Weird. Cannot blame the file or anything because without subs the audio and video would be well sync.

So what's causing this? What better proggy to use? I've heard of subtitle workshop? It's suppose to help in some way? It's odd... the subs are not out of sync.. it's the audio.

Hope someoen can help pls thanks!

Have you tried convert the audio to wav/pcm and use it as audio source in tmpgenc? www.videohelp.com/tmpgenc#problems .

Yup Baldrick, I did. I use Virtualdub to seperate the audio from the video. Then I take the audio(wav) and use it as source in tmpgenc. It works fine when burnt into dvd and all. It's just that when subs are involved... it's not sync in the later parts.
