    Hi,

    Which of this player is suitable for watching dvd's and occasionally mp3/cd. also i was checking it has only 2 options for audio settings -PCM,RAW...Which of this mode is ideal for dts,dolby setting so that receiver should decode proper signal

    I don't know about the Toshiba, but the Philips can do what you want. Set the audio to RAW if you want your receiver to decode it.

    How do you set the audio to RAW on DVP-642. I couln't see any option to allow me that.
