How to use CCE by itself?

Is there anypoint to run CCE SP without using dvd-rb?

If so, how do I operate CCE alone?

It seems as if the quality of the film is not as good as it should be with DVD-RB.

someone can correct me if i'm wrong. to use CCE on it's own with a dual layer dvd you would have to use DVD2AVI first then use CCE to create a MPEG file, then you'll need to use a dvd authoring program before burning it to a disc. look at the guides to the left on using CCE.

CCE is a stand alone app so yes it runs fine by itself. But without AVISynth CCE is pretty much useless. On the Cinema Craft website they even endorse using CCE with AVISynth so that should tell you something.

the newest version has a lot more ability than before ..

like it can even now add pulldown
