burn direct to dvd

Is there a way to capture and burn from my mini dv through firewire and burn directly to dvd writer ?
there is no need to edit my videos.

check out www.adstech.com devices that use the capwiz (propritory) software ver. 3.5 has a DTD option that captures and authors direct to media without using hard disk

The InstantDvd +Dv most likely is the one you want to check out as it accepts DV input. If you have analog source capability then you could get one of the others.

They will do what you specificaly asked for, but lack tv tuner scheduling

DTD does do auto chapter points, works great for me, but I use analog signal imputs.
