I made a post about trying to get 3 mini dvdr home videos on 1 dvdr with menus and someone told me to try Tmpgenc DVD Author, however when I try to load them in it can't find an audio source, but the videos do have audio. THere is no audio_ts folder, its just Video_Ts with some files in it. I even tried loading from the files and still no luck. Any alternatives?

    Hello,

Can you play them with sound on a software dvd player like powerdvd??? If so then the sound is in it and maybe tmpgenc dvd author is just having difficulty with your format.

You can demux the vob files using normal tmpgenc. Go to file - mpeg tools - demultiplex.

Save the audio as mp2 and you can load that sepeartely along with the video in tmpgenc dvd author. Since it's exactly the same source there SHOULDN'T be any synch issues.

Give that a try and see what you get...

I'm not following what you're doing here. But in any case, it's normal that you don't have anything in your audio_ts folders, you'd have something if the DVD were DVD audio, which they are not.
How did you use TMPGenc DVD Author? Did you rip your vob files to disk then import them in DVD Author? What do you mean when you say "it can find an audio source"? do you mean DVD author can't find an audio source? Is it actually asking for one? Do you mean you can't hear audio when you preview the files in DVD Author?

Your post is a bit confusing as it is..
