Hi all, I've been happily backing up a few of my DVDs, and have recently discovered there are subtitles missing. It wouldn't bother me, only I have a few movies that are in Japanese, and the English subtitles aren't there.
I'm using DVD Shrink 3.2, letting it do automatic compression, and do not remove any of the menus/extras (I'm not too fussed about the video quality, and I like to have all the extra stuff). Then I'm burning with Nero Express 6.3.0.3.
Where are my subtitles? Thanks in advance...

Just a thought, might they be turned off in the preferences section?
Open Shrink, then in the toolbar go to edit->preferences->stream selections
Make sure that all languages are picked and that the disable button is not checked.
Then when you backup, all the subtitles should be there for you to choose.
Hope it helps. -
Yup, that was it. Tricky little tick-boxes, get me every time...
Thanks heaps.
