Hi, I have inserted a number of pictures in a video I'm urgently producing with Power Director 3, for release at the end of next week. I produced a trial DVD using the standard (right?) format of 720x480, converting all materials to PAL for use in Italy, with highest quality (vs. speed) selected and a low compression rate. All pictures were stretched along the vertical axis, in other words all standing subjects would look taller and so forth. The video clips came out fine (although very big pixels resulted in some scenes after rendering => how do I fix this???). The stretching of pictures *is* a problem since the video is about a person who passed away and will be shown to other people who knew her very intimately so the deformation will not go unnoticed.
Any hints anybody???
Thank you very much. Marco

Ok, I found the way thanks to harpe025's post on Oct. 07, 2003, which gave me a useful hint. I stretched the originals width-wise by a ratio of 12.36291 (original widht + original width* 12.36291) and imported them into the tool. The result is very similar to the original picture. Thanks anyway. Best. M.
