How do I cut a corner of video off with Premiere?

Ok, I know about the crop and clip effects in Premiere and they don't work for what I want to do.

I just want to crop video, but not just horizontally and vertically. I want to crop at the corner at an arbitrary angle. I cannot figure it out in Premiere. Is there a way? Can any other program do it?

Why don't you create a black polygon in your titler??
Use this to overlay..
This will be almost the same result as clipping..

The thing is, I don't want to replace the video with black, I just want it to be gone so the layer under can show through. If I use an overlay it will cover up the layer below the video I want to remove....

Alrighty, then make it white, and use it as a trackmatte for the video below..

Make the corner so that transparancy will be the result..
Perhaps by using an off colour for your shape desire, and using the chromakey to pick that colour..
I would assume transparency would happen to reveal the video below..

This is just a guess though..
