Not sure where the best forum for this question is but i'm here now..
I have about 1000 slides that I want to digitize for a slideshow. What is the best and fastest way to accomplish this? scanning slides individually is way to time consuming..

They make scanners with feed options that you can feed the slides too just like printers that feed the paper automatically.

If you are going to do this on a regular basis then I would suggest buying a scanner. But it will take time to learn and get the desired results. If you need it done quickly get quotes from some professional photolabs. They should have professional grade film readers. Also, some times its necessary to remove the film from the sleeve in order to properly scan it and then remount it, which can be time consuming for the normal consumer.

It seems I may need to buy a new "fancy" scanner.
Thanks for the input guys.
