Another double rainbow

It's a little hard to make out the fainter one, but there are two there touching the ground on both ends I should go look for the leprechaun's gold

I saw one in SE Utah last Wed. I have heard that a triple is impossible,but I saw one in Kansas in 1996.

I saw one here once, but it wasn't full end-to-end. Still very cool-looking 8)

The one i saw was partial as well.Maybe it is impossible to see a complete triple.

We get the doubles in the late afternoon when it's darker to the east, and has been raining almost all day, like today. The clouds to the west cleared away and the sun came blasting through, hitting that moist air and rain still coming down over the city at just the right angle ...and, voila!

I saw one over here a couple of weeks ago when I took the mutt for a walk.

Same as you Cap it was about 5.pm, just after really heavy rain, then the sun came out. As with yours one was really bold and the other was fainter, both touched the ground at both ends.

I wish it was as clear as the one I posted a few weeks ago. That one was very obvious and easy to see on the video.

Something as simple as light refraction ....it's still cool 8)
