ok so i load a vcd file (mpeg) into womble and add a simple 1 second fade out to the end of it - then select the whole thing a save to a new file - unfortunately the new file has many glitches in the video throughout and i have no idea why this should be the case - am gonna try wombles mpeg editor and see if i get similar problems. i'm running 1.4 athlon with 256 ddr - i think my pc should be up to the task of adding a tiny fade out to a 3 minutes (35mb) video clip.
any suggestions and ideas why this is happening?
cheers

I have experienced exactly the same problems as you describe, using the lastest version of it.
Just cutting the MPG works ok but adding effects will often add glitches to the resulting video. -
Did you keep changing the settings for the effect over and over? I believe it will work better if once you find the right setting you go back to a clean original and just add that one effect.

i open up, add one effect and then export to a new file - glitches galore...
