  1. I took my PC downstairs because I wanted to record sumthin and our VCR is on repair so this was my only choice. This TV i connected my computer is only 5 months brand new and its widescreen. It has the S-video and composite inputs on the front. I connected a S-Video output cable from the Card to the TV input and the TV quality is great. I got my sound through my normal speakers, but I tested it out into the Tv and sound was great. No Macrovision Problems.

But now i can see my PC on the TV (I don;t really want to bring down my PC screen), I want to connect from my Sky Digibox Scart into my TV.

The ATI box gives you all the right cables (Yellow composite cable, red and white composite with normal sound female on the end, Extension box which can be connected to the A/V in on the card and on the box has composite and S-video) Also I have a Scart to composite converter.

I put the scart converter in my SKY Digibox Scart, then the compsoite cables going into my Extension Box. Then I went to the Composite option and still a blank screen. What am i doing wrong??

I looked on the scart converter, and in small letters it says in. I think this is so if the TV hasnt got a S-Video you can connected the out to the TV.

What can I do to solve this?? (plz don't say use RF connecter, I could do but the quality is crap, audio comes out as mono and as my mum and dad can't watch the normal aerial channels, so I couldn't)

    thanx

  2. What you need is a SCART to Phono converter (like the one you have) but wired with an OUT configuration. The one supplied with the ATI cards is wired so it will only accept a signal INTO the SCART from the Phono as its designed to be used with the TV out part of the card to put a signal INTO the TV.

    I hope this makes sense.

I dont know where you live, but in the UK something like Dixons sell them. Any shop that sells a lot of Hifi, TV and Video equipment should sell them.
