    Open the file in almost any editor and save it as an MPEG2. It'll take a while to encode it though

    For that you would need an MPEG2 encoder. One comes with DVD Studio Pro, which is sweet for making DVDs. Otherwise, iDVD will do that conversion for you. I believe Toast might too. There's always ffmpegX as well...

    That's a good guide . . . if you want to make a SVCD. If you want to keep more quality, it would be better to make a DVD. Hippy74, what are you trying to make, and what software do you have available?
