  1. I have had this problem for like 6 months now? Why so long you ask? Honestly, I didn't do anything about it for 6 months! Ok, so here's the deal:

I have a few unrelated videos (avi) with AC3 Audio! YES, I do have the AC3filter installed, and YES I do have sound......BUT, the sound is really quiet. Even when I turn the speakers all the way up, it is not loud enough. Other videos, sounds, audio all sound fine, but I've noticed this problem with AC3 video, what do I do?

The master voume in Volume Controls is all the way up.
    Please help!

  2. Check your AC3Filter configuration again. Do you have the gains set to +20, normalize checked? Output 2/0-stereo and PCM 16bit? That works on my rig.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!

  3. Are you sure I should keep my output setting as 2/0 Stereo? I have 5 speakers and a Subwoofer. I also use my TV mainly to watch videos, so what setting is best for PC and what is best for the TV (normal 2 speaker TV)?

No, just as a test to see if the low audio problem goes away. Then you'll know you're on the right track. As I understand you, the problem originates with the AVI, and manifests itself on your PC and on your conversions, therefore your standalone too. (I've run into that a time or two, the settings I suggested fixed it). Check the audio in GSpot or some such utility. I only have stereo, so you'll have to take it from there. Unless someone else wants to chime in? Good luck.
