need help ripping dvd so i can rip it.

i'm going to rip a dvd to divx,but there is a problem i've see a couple times.
after ripping to the hard drive i'll play it with power dvd and where there are credits it switches languages.
before i have stripped out the subtitles and audio with dvd decrypter and i was able to make a good divx rip,but i'm unable to this time.
any suggestions?

Hello,

Well you could use smartripper or another ripper. Then use virtualdubmpeg2 or your ususal method of dvd-divx (others include autogk, gordian knot, and simpledivx found in the TOOLS section on the left.

i was thinking about useing smartripper.i should have tried it before making a topic,but i was heading out the door.
smartripper had the same audio and subtitles that dvd decrypter had that could be stripped except smartripper had a 'other',so whatever the 'other' is thats what needed to be gone.
