    Hi,

    Was wondering if anyone can help please?

    I live in the UK & have got a couple of NTSC vhs tapes I want to put onto to DVD-r.

    I have got a Samsung SV-240b video player which can play NTSC tapes but as soon as I connect it to my Panny E30, it goes black & white!

    I have changed the set up in the Panny menu to NTSC & still no good & I know its not macro vision as well.

    Any help?

    Perhaps your Panny E30 can only record in PAL but it can output PAL and NTSC? Your best bet is to buy a capture card that can capture PAL and NTSC.
