I was trying to watch a copy of Signs divx on my dvp642 and it works fine for the most part except where there is alot of action then the audio and video get a bit jumpy and break up. This video looks really good, is it possible that the bit rate is too high and the player just cant keep up? It plays fine on my computer. Thanks!

I've noticed the same thing. A DIVX file will breakup at the same point as the movie did when run as a miniDVD. It's got to be high bitrate, the bitrate peaks of a DVD seem to survive DIVX encodeing.

I have encountered the same.
How high a DivX bitrate is too high for this player?
